Dress Regulations
Playing or Practicing Golf – Policy – Neat, clean attire is to be worn at all times and should reflect the status and dignity of our membership and Indooroopilly Golf Club
MEN:
Shirts
- Shirts must have collars, sleeves and be clean.
- Shirts with turtle necks or mock turtle necks are permitted.
Trousers and Shorts
- Trousers and shorts must be tailored, neat, clean and worn with a belt.
- Denim, pants or shorts with a drawstring or elastic top, are not permitted.
Shoes
- Shoes must be clean, fully enclosed and worn with socks.
- Golf shoes must not have metal spikes.
- In the clubhouse enclosed shoes may be worn without socks.
WOMEN:
Golf Attire
- Golf clothing similar in style to what is sold in the club’s Pro Shop should be a guide if any doubt as to whether an article of apparel is suitable or not.
- Shoes must be clean, fully enclosed and worn with socks.
- Golf shoes must not have metal spikes.
- Denim, pants or shorts with a drawstring or elastic top, are not permitted.
LOGOS AND BRAND NAMES:
- Logos, brand names or advertising on clothing must be discreet
POINCIANA BAR ATTIRE
- Tailored shirts may be worn outside the pants.
- Enclosed shoes may be worn without socks.
- Golf attire may be worn (bottom of shoes should be cleaned before entering the area)
- Denim may be worn as long as it does not have a torn, worn-out or dirty appearance.
Unacceptable Attire
Clothing or footwear that may be construed as “gym wear” beach wear”,
T-shirts, dirty or torn garments, work boots, thongs.
